In 1988 Pope John Paul 11 and members of the Synod recommended that pastoral councils be established in all parishes

 

The Parish Council in St Patrick’s is a consultative and advisory body that exists to support the Parish Priest. The present Council was set up in 2009.

At meetings a variety of subjects is discussed,  ranging from forward planning of services and events, financial issues,  catechesis, rotas and general matters relevant at the time.

 

If any member of the Parish has a particular issue which needs to be raised at a Parish Council Meeting,  please contact Fr Bodgan or one of the Council.
